Describe HertzBeat's history and origin?
HertzBeat was first open-sourced in the Dromara community in January 2022 under the name TanCloud/HertzBeat, and spent roughly two years growing there as one of Dromara's more popular projects.
On April 5, 2024, HertzBeat was donated into the Apache Incubator after an Apache Software Foundation vote passed with 16 binding votes and no opposition. Over the following year the project added new committers, completed multiple Apache-compliant releases, and grew a community of over 270 contributors.
That maturity led to HertzBeat graduating to a full Apache Top-Level Project in 2025, alongside Apache Teaclave and Apache Training, marking its transition from a community-run tool into a formally governed ASF project.
